Total Eclipse of the Heart

Hey one and all!!

So sorry, not a ton of time to email. We have been up in Hiawatha all day, we went to see the eclipse and to talk to all the people visiting. There were people there who flew in from California to see it! It was crazy how many people were there. But we handed out a few copies of the Book of Mormon, it was cool.

So this week we had mission changing news...so first off we are having an Apostle visit the mission, Dallin H. Oaks!! So that is awesome, but more big news...our mission will be a smartphone mission! So every missionary in the mission will have their own smartphone, so that's pretty crazy, oh and Facebook.

We had zone conference this week, where we learned about all that exciting stuff. Pretty fun.

We did exchanges with the Zone Leaders this week. It was really awesome, met some cool people.

We had a pretty good week, we found someone through a investigator, William. And he accepted a date and committed to church. When Sunday rolls around we go to round him up and we meet his parents. They said it is fine if he goes, but not this week cause he was in trouble. But we talked to his parents and they agreed to meet with us on Tuesday.

Sorry not a lot of time, but love y'all!

Hello!!

Hey! Topeka is awesome.

So this week we found out that we had to give up our full time car, so
now we bike every other day. But biking brings cool miracles, so it'll
be fun.

Ohh Ohh Ohh awesome amazing thing this week happened! Ricky and Monica
got baptized!!! Yay :) that was fun. P

So we were riding our bikes this week and Elder Christensen had a
little fall, which resulted in a flat tire. So we started walking,
which turned out to be a blessing in disguise! So we were walking to
dinner and there was a whistle from the road and I look over and it's
a guy I taught in McPherson! So that was really cool, we exchanged
numbers, cause apparently he's in Topeka a lot for work. So when he's
in town next we'll get together.

So this week we gave a blessing to the sisters investigator to help
her quit tobacco. So she's from Micronesia, and she thought that Elder
Christensen cursed her because she's now afraid of tobacco and gets
sick when she chews. So that was cool.

Things have been busy for us, but it's mostly just been finding, so
there's not a whole lot to talk about.

But today we did a tour of the capital building that was cool, we go
all the way up to the very top on the outside of the dome. That was
really cool. Pictures are attached!

Sorry for the short email, but I love you all! Have a great week!!
